VECO Workshop
Sydney

June 15 - 16, 1998

This workshop was one of the 1998 2 day VECO workshops lead by VECO Project Officer, Janine Bowes, who was ably assisted at the Sydney session by Nicola Cartwright from the ASTF. 16 coordinators from NSW and ACT came together at the Burwood premises of Intouch Consultancy. After a hard day's work the group relaxed with dinner at a great little Italian restaurant in Sydney.

Real Time Technologies
We demonstrated ICQ and Net Meeting via dial up to David Potter (the Netride) in Brisbane.

Websites of VET Programs
We were fortunate to have two coordinators present who have developed substantial websites for their programs. Lenny Eagles and Gary Stephenson led the group through their program websites demonstrating features and telling the stories of how they came about, pitfalls, lessons learned, future directions.
