This workshop was one of the 1998 round of 2 day VECO workshops. It was faciliated by Janine Bowes (VECO Project Officer) and Kylie Chappell from the ASTF. Ros Rangott (a VECO participant from the ACT) assisted us remotely with the session on real time technologies.

12 coordinators from Queensland came together in Brisbane. Most people were able to dine that evening at Harrold's -- the Italian restaurant at Spring Hill with the singing proprietor. A combined rendition of "Volare" rounded the evening off nicely.

If you are interested you can view the full program online. Participants engaged in a range of discussions and activities, two highlights were:

• At the end of the workshop there were several new or updated entries in the VECO program registry and resources database.
• There was a lot of interest in developing program websites for marketing programs, sharing resources and highlighting student successes.
