| [based on email posted to VECO community on April 26, 2001] "In recent months, OTEN-Distance Education has undertaken a project involving the development of a student workshop titled, "Preparing Students for Work Placement". Initially this workshop was developed for use at mini-schools and field schools by those who teach by distance education in NSW. However, clearly it has a much wider potential use - face-to-face teachers will also find the document of use. We have now made this document available to you in PDF format, so that you and other teachers / work placement coordinators can download it and customise the workshop for your own purpose and according to your own context. Please note that this document runs to 42 pages in length and consists of a detailed running sheet for teachers (a script, if you like), a student agenda and print originals for the OHTs.
