The Enterprise and Career Education Foundation (formerly The Australian Student Traineeship Foundation)
The Enterprise and Career Education Foundation replaced the Australian Student Traineeship Foundation in February 2001. 
ANTA - The Australian National Training Authority
ANTA is a Commonwealth Statutory Authority responsible for the development of a national vocational education and training system in cooperation with States and Territory governments, the Commonwealth government and industry. Included at the ANTA site are:

National Training Information Service: an inter-relational database providing comprehensive guide to products, services and providers.

New Apprenticeships
This site has extensive information about New Apprenticeships including new material on School-based Apprenticeships and Traineeships. You can search for your nearest New Apprenticeship Centre at the site.

Australian Job Search
A free service provided for the Federal Government for both job seekers and employers.

DETYA - Department of Education, Training and Youth Affairs
The Commonwealth Government department responsible for vocational education. Particularly useful is information about current tenders some of which will be relevant to VET in schools.

Curriculum Corporation
The Curriculum Corporation produces quality curriculum materials. The website includes information on available products as well as some resources online. In particular:

Dusseldorp Skills Forum
The Dusseldorp Skills Forum's vision is to create fundamental improvements in educational, workplace and community practices that result in every Australian gaining the skills, capabilities and opportunities for productive and rewarding roles in contemporary society. The site includes extensive resources and research publications.

EdNA Online (Education Network Australia)
EdNA Online has links to quality Australian educational content. - browse or search EdNA for information broadly organised into Schools, VET and Higher Education.

Ministerial Council on Employment, Education, Training and Youth Affairs (MCEETYA)
The areas of responsibility covered by the Council are pre-primary education, primary and secondary education, vocational education and training, higher education, employment and linkages between employment/labour market programs and education and training, adult and community education, youth policy programs and cross-sectoral matters.
