Item 9 of 9:
Date: Thu, 09 Apr 1998 16:25:06 +1000 Richard Thank YOU for being such an interesting online guest Your thoughts about Career Education's role in the School to Work transition has reignited the ongoing debate around Bradfield College and your stories from foreign lands have sparked many a green eye of envy You just may be right about those application forms for a Churchill Fellowship 1999 !! My colleague, Andrew FitzSimons, expressed it really well yesterday when he said, "That Richard has an interesting way of viewing things. I'm really enjoying his VECO discussions". (Many who know you would say your mind is "interesting" (!@#!) to say the least but I digress) Your pragmatic approach to the complex issue of school to work transition neatly encompassed a host of relevant issues (key competencies, Year 9 & 10, whole school approaches to career education, log books, etc etc) which is both challenging and vital when developing worthwhile programs So thanks for being the online guest and maybe for the enjoyment of those few of us still working next week, you might share some travelling tips (hints for finding the best deals in American and European B&Bs, hire cars etc) ?
