Subject: VocEd: Introducing our second Online Guest - Mike Frost

It gives me great pleasure to introduce our second online guest, Mike Frost. Mike has been the executive officer for VETNETwork since its inception in 1996. He has been a regular contributor to the VECO community via this list. He comes from a background of Assistant Principal at Rosny College in Tasmania and in that role was involved from 1992 with a variety of AVTS and vocational educational programs ranging from introducing TRAC retail to Aviation Studies.

Mike will be our online guest for the next two weeks and will post messages every couple of days or so. He will focus on the qualities that make schools effective in the delivery of vocational programs, New Apprenticeships in Schools. He will also take the opportunity to seek your input regarding VETNETwork's proposed journal of Vocational Education in schools.

I encourage you to ask questions and add your input to the various issues raised by Mike. By using the 'reply' function in your email, the related messages will be 'threaded' in the archive. Mike will use a convention of Mike Frost (guest) as the start of the subject of his messages. In this way the "guest" traffic will be easily separated from any other traffic that occurs over the same time period.

Mike tells me he will post his first message by tomorrow morning.

have a good day
Janine
