Good afternoon all

I would like to heartily thank Jim Cumming for his series of postings on "Rethinking years 9 and 10" which were highly informative and much appreciated. I have received many postive comments in addition to the ones that have come to the list which are reflected by this one that Jim received ,p> "I've been reading your posts with interest and admiration - a calm voice of reason and conviction in a time of bewildering changes. Your considered opinions stike a chord with myself and fellow educators here in Victoria ..... Your musings have inspired me anew ..."

Several coordinators have let me know that they are using the material as a source for seminar sessions and one public posting referred to the material being read by students with great interest. Thanks Jim for your generosity in taking the time to reflect and organise your thoughts so concisely!

There is a sequel to this message that urges you all to keep the years 9/10 issue on your agendas and to be proactive in shaping its outcomes.
