Good Afternoon All

Whether teachers have the ability or not is surely a secondary argument in the issue of assessment. I don't know what system other states work on but in Queensland teachers are frequently teaching three quarters of the class still while the balance of the class is out on placement. This means that the time is just not there to do effective assessment. The issue of teacher visits to industry, assessment of modules both on and off the job is one of the major issues I came up against all the time and I would love to hear from someone who has solved the riddle of how to effectively get teachers into the workplace given the existing time restrictions.

Cheers
Ann Morris
