The
Topic:
The Assessment Research Centre at the University of Melbourne recently finalised a project
for the Australian Student Traineeship Foundation looking at Workplace Assessment.
One of the outcomes of that project is the collation and creation of a wealth of
material including:
- case studies
- draft assessment 'tools'
- thinking about policy implications of workplace assessment
- guides to assessment issues which teachers and workplace supervisors are confronting in
their daily practice
Shelley Gillis will introduce the material, work through the various assessment
instruments and discuss common practice.Dr Jack Keating will reflect on policy
issues that have emerged.
You are warmly invited to actively participate in this event which is an excellent
opportunity to follow up on an earlier VECO guest spot from Professor Patrick Griffin.
