What started as a one year project went on to become a successful online community that was an integral part of the Enterprise and Career Education Foundation's (ECEF's) support for coordinators of what was then known as Structured Workplace Learning co-odinators.

VECO operated from 1997 until 2001 and the core online communities, now operate through the ECEF website as e-vocation for coordinators and e-wadu for those working with Indigenous students in their school to post school transition.

This website remains as an historical record of the activities of the VECO community.
