Background
to the SymposiumThe symposium has been convened as part of DETYA's ongoing commitment to Vocational Education and Guidance.
DETYA consulted with schools in the Mitwatj region and identified a need for information and support relevant to the introduction of VET in Rural and Remote Schools. The symposium has been organised with the help of the VET in Schools Coordinator at Yirrkala CEC, Rob Picton. Schools, communities, employers, training institutions and funding bodies have been invited to attend.
