The VOCED-COORD discussion list
(VECO community)

Note: As of 24th of October 2001 the voced-coord email list became e-vocation, based at www.ecef.com.au/e-vocation

The following page remains for historical reference only and links that are no longer relevant have been made inactive.

This list is the main communication device of the VECO community.

The purpose of the List
This is a list for those involved in VET in schools structured workplace learning programs. It is for program coordinators, teachers, workplace supervisors, careers advisors and others involved in structured workplace learning programs in Australian school-industry partnerships.

This list is about:

  • Helping Internet-using co-ordinators, workplace supervisors, teachers and others in school-industry programs become involved in an online community
  • Providing links between co-ordinators and teachers and the industries students are learning about
  • Seeking support and helping others within the VECO community
  • Discussing issues of significance in vocational education trends in Australian Education
  • Seeking partners for projects
  • Sharing news, ideas, and notices of events

Archives of the voced-coord list

The archives of the list are available on the web and can be sorted according to date, subject or sender. Browsing the archives is a way of reviewing past traffic and also enables new members to familiarise themselves with the culture of the list.

Another version of the archives is hosted at EdNA. This version includes only the previous year's traffic and has a comprehensive search facility. Select "Voc-Ed Coordinators Online" from the list of "groups".
