The background to the list
Rural and remote areas are a current priority for ASTF support. A national network called RRAVE-On has begun and the RRAVE-On email list is its core networking tool.
The purpose of the List
This list is a core mechanism for supporting the goals of the network and is used as a place to
- tell others in the network of interesting things you are doing
- share information about resources
- share successes as well as what has been learned from apparent failures
- ask each other for advice
- discuss issues
- arrange meetings and visits
- announce events
- be used a reporting mechanism from time to time

Archives of the RRAVE-ON list
The archives of the list are visible on the web and can be sorted according to date, subject or sender. Browsing the archives is a way of reviewing past traffic and also enables new members to familiarise themselves with the culture of the list.
