VECO supported regional networks
Riverina-Net
The Riverina-Net Yahoo group provides an email list as a day to day communication tool for and
between coordinators in the Riverina Highland region of New South
Wales (view map). The Yahoo group also provides a virtual office with
document store, calendar and many other useful tools. Yahoo groups
are free but you do get some advertising material.
All membership requests must be approved by a network facilitator.
Riverina-Net began in 1999 with an email discussion list and migrated
to a Yahoo group in 2000 as part of their "Pushing
the Boundaries" project funded by ECEF. A Yahoo group provides an email discussion group
as well as a website with many useful database driven tools.

will go to the entire network membership.
All messages sent to the Riverina-Net group will have the prefix
"[Riverina-Net]" automatically added to the subject line.

Netiquette
Being a private network, the conversations on this network are likely to be
more informal than in an open forum. However, the general rules of
netiquette still apply. These are encapsulated in the VECO Rules
of Play which has guidelines and tips about posting messages.

To can manage your membership of the Riverina-Net group. You do
this by logging onto the Yahoo Groups website with your Yahoo ID and selecting from the options.

The email discussion and virtual office of Riverina-Net is
not visible to non members. However, Riverina-Net is happy to host virtual
collegial visits on a limited basis.
Virtual Collegial visits work by the guest becoming a
member of the network for a limited period of time and agreeing to the
guidelines established by the network. They are hosted by a network member
who is available via email and telephone
Please contact a network facilitator if you are interested
in a Virtual Collegial Visit to Riverina Net.
