The most significant achievements of the project have been the retention of pupils and the growth in self-esteem with ensuing boost in confidence.
All school program outcomes were achieved. The Gallery was launched by the students on 29 August 2000.

Outcomes in brief:
- The dream for the Youth Art Gallery has become a reality
- Production within the school timetable continued with extra-curricular time for those involved in the APEX Teenage Fashion Awards in Perth
- Enthusiasm and increased self-esteem obvious in the confidence of students at public events (e.g. radio & TV interviews and gallery launch speeches)
- This is the first time a gallery has been established within the school timetable
- Students work on a 5 period framework on production within the school timetable
- Students are feeling good about their final product
- All students will be publicised locally and through our own Indigenous Youth Art Gallery.
The theme for the 2001 Art Exhibition is "Kimberley Waters" and Contemporary Dot Painting.
Students will release Visual Images of their studio work after the exhibition.
